Special Edition Toyota Innova Crysta Touring Sport to be launched in April

Reports suggest that Toyota Kirloskar Motor will be introducing the Toyota Innova Crysta Touring Sport, a special edition of the standard model, in April. It has high chances of being similar to the Innova Venturer which is currently on sale in the Indonesian market.

Similar to the Toyota Innova Venturer, the new “Touring Sport” edition will also be offered in 6-seater trims with captain chairs for the second row. It is also expected to get a 4.2-inch TFT MID, premium leather black upholstery, exclusive floor mats and automatic climate control.

The Touring Sport edition of the Toyota Innova Crysta is expected to get the same engine that drives the standard version. A 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel and 2GD-FTV 2.4-litre four-cylinder diesel are the diesel engine options in the standard Innova, along with 2TR-FE 2.7-litre four-cylinder petrol mill. However, it is still unknown whether the newer edition will get all the three trims or just one engine option.

The Toyota Innova Crysta Touring Sport will get black coloured cladding on the front and rear bumpers and wheel arches. The front grille, ORVMs, bumper and rear windscreen will get generous amount of chrome inserts. It will also get 17-inch alloy wheels from the top end trim of the Innova Crysta.

Just around a week back we had recently reported that Toyota Innova Crysta has crossed 67,500 sales mark in India. Considering this recent success, it can be expected the special edition, slated for a launch in April, will also get a good grip over the market.
